Scizor (Pokémon)

In Searching for Chivalry!, Goh's Scyther evolved into Scizor by being transferred through a trade machine while holding a Metal Coat.

Two Scizor debuted in Wired For Battle. One was owned by Muramasa, who nicknamed it Masamune; while the other was owned by Shingo, who nicknamed it Blade.

In Celebi: The Voice of the Forest, the Iron-Masked Marauder used a Scizor and a Sneasel to retrieve Celebi.

In Can't Beat the Heat!, Gary used a Scizor during his battle against Ash in the Silver Conference. It defeated Snorlax and Muk before losing to Charizard.

In A Judgment Brawl, Katie used a Scizor during her battle against Ash in the Ever Grande Conference. It battled Swellow and lost.

In Curbing the Crimson Tide!, a Scizor known as "Red Lightning" would battle other people's Pokémon and scribble on their faces once it won. Its voice in the persona was provided by its Trainer, Luna. Its reign of terror ended when Ash's Pikachu blasted its costume off and Ash's Sceptile defeated it in battle.

In Gymbaliar!, Minnie used a Scizor in a battle against Brock's Croagunk (which was under the ownership of Jessie at the time) and lost.

In Mastering Current Events!, McCann used a Scizor in a battle against Ash and Gliscor, and it was able to beat Gliscor using the wind. It had a rematch against Gliscor and nearly lost, but it was again able to win the match.

In Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Goone used two Scizor as his main offensive Pokémon.

In Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Wikstrom's Mega Scizor briefly battled Diantha's Gardevoir while it was also Mega Evolved.

Giovanni was revealed to own a Scizor in Pokémon Hair Salon Opens!!. It became his battling Pokémon after revealing himself from his disguise as Green.

When released from a Poké Ball, Scizor will charge forward while flailing its claws, then leap high into the air and fall off the screen. Its attack pattern is similar to Marill.

This evolved form of Scyther has arms ending in large pincers with distinctive eye-spot markings. It's unable to fly very far with its wings, but it can affect its body temperature by flapping them at high speeds. Its sleek look has made Scizor quite popular among collectors.

Scizor makes a cameo appearance in the Kalos Pokémon League. When the stage transitions to the Ironworks Chamber, it can be seen in the background along with Steelix, Klinklang, and Honedge.

NA: Is that a three-headed monster?! No, wait... the left and right heads are actually claws! Creepy. Most creatures that have face-like patterns use them defensively to give themselves a chance to flee. Scizor throws that idea away and uses them to scare foes while it attacks!

Scizor is a playable character in the arcade and Nintendo Switch versions of Pokkén Tournament.

Scizor in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Scizor returns as a Poké Ball item as it did in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It retains its movement and actions from prior games, using Metal Claw to fly at and slash opponents in its way with great speed. It then jumps off the screen. Its appearance on Kalos Pokémon League also returns. It also appears as a Spirit.

• Pokémon Ranger: Garret uses a Scizor in his attempts to stop the player.
• Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness: Scizor is a famous explorer who is captured by Froslass in ice for several decades. The player defeats Froslass and frees Scizor, who bestows the Secret Rank upon the player's team in gratitude.
• Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness's Scizor returns as a fainted Pokémon that must be given an apple to connect with the player. Upon connection, he will also connect the player's team with Froslass.

Scizor is available in Sword and Shield Version 1.2.0+, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
