Generation III
A Starf Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 96 hours, with 24 hours per stage. A Starf tree will yield 1-2 Berries.
Generation IV
A Starf Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 96 hours, with 24 hours per stage. A Starf tree will yield 1-5 Berries.
Generation VI
A Starf Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 120 hours, with 20 hours per stage.
Generation VII
A Starf Berry will mature from a planted seed to a full-grown, fruit-bearing tree in 72 hours. A Starf tree will yield 2-4 Berries.
Uses
Berry Crushing
At 100% performance, a Starf Berry will contribute 1500 units of powder.
Poffin cooking
At 100% performance, a Starf Berry can produce a Level 28 (probably higher) Spicy-Sweet Poffin when cooking alone.
Juice Shoppe
If blended with a Lansat Berry at the Lumiose Juice Shoppe, it will become a Rare Soda, increasing the drinker's level by 3.

Trivia
- In Generation III, the colors of the Starf Berry's star match the five flavors: red for spicy, blue for dry, pink for sweet, green for bitter, and yellow for sour. For unknown reasons, the pink part was changed to yellow in Generation IV.
