Heavy Slam (move)
Heavy Slam (Japanese: ヘビーボンバー Heavy Bomber) is a damage-dealing Steel-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TR79 in Generation VIII.

Effect
Generations V and VI
Heavy Slam deals damage. Its power depends on the weight of both the user and the target; the lighter the target is in comparison to the user, the greater the power:

Generation VII
If the target has used Minimize, Heavy Slam now deals double its regular damage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
Generation VIII
Heavy Slam will fail against a Dynamax target.

- Only the 75 (including Mega Evolved Pokémon) heaviest Pokémon (less than 10% of all Pokémon) will not experience a 120 base power Heavy Slam from a Celesteela, due to the majority of Pokémon weighing less than 199.998 kg (20% of 999.99 kg).
- With a weight of 2.2 lbs., Flapple is the lightest Pokémon that can have this move.
