It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
It is a member of the Legendary titans along with Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and Regidrago.
Biology
Regieleki is an electric golem-like Pokémon made mostly of electric energy generated by a single organ. It has a round yellow body with three spikes on top of its head. It has a pink pattern on its face that resembles the letter "X". Regieleki has five blue, metal-like insulated rings with two serving as shoulders connect to electric-like arms, while the other three serve as a combined bottom for the triangle body shape with lightning-shaped legs. Its body can glow bright yellow and the electric arms can open when attacking.
According to legend, Regieleki was created by Regigigas using pure electric energy. Regieleki absorbs electrons in order to stay alive and is said to have the greatest power of any Electric-type Pokémon. The insulated equipment on it cannot conduct electricity. It is believed to have been placed there by ancient people in order to restrain its powers due to being tormented by Regieleki[1] and removing the rings is said to unlock the latent powers of Regieleki. It is powerful enough to generate all of Galar's electricity.
Regieleki is the only known Pokémon capable of using the move Thunder Cage.

Trivia
- Regieleki has the highest base Speed stat of all Pokémon.
- Along with Regidrago, Regieleki is the only Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII that is not Shiny-locked in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- Regieleki is the smallest and lightest of the legendary titans, at 3'11" (1.2 m) and 319.7 lbs. (145.0 kg).
- Regieleki is the only member of the legendary titans that cannot learn Hammer Arm by leveling up. Instead, it learns Thunderbolt.
- Regieleki's base HP and Speed are the reverse of Regidrago's.
Origin
Regieleki seems to be based on the golems of Hebrew legend. The legends cast them as servants of higher powers and are said to have writing on their heads. When the writing is removed, the creature would be weakened, or even killed in some legends.
Regieleki also seems to be based off the concept of an electric charge being restrained by electrical insulation. Its overall shape resembles a light bulb wrapped in tesla coils, while its arms resemble electric arcs. As an electric generator found in ancient ruins, its inspiration may also be drawn from an out-of-place artifact (OOPART), such as the Baghdad Battery.
The Legendary titans may be collectively themed after historical epochs, with Regieleki representing the Modern Age.
Name origin
Regieleki may be a combination of regis (Latin for royal) and エレキ ereki (Japanese for electric).
