Release information

This card was included in the Chilling Reign expansion with artwork by kodama, first released in the Japanese Silver Lance expansion. It was reprinted in the Japanese VMAX Climax subset alongside a Secret Full Art print with artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma. The Chilling Reign print was reprinted again as a Non Holofoil in the Japanese Start Deck 100.

Origin

Brainwave is an attack that first appeared on Orbeetle from Sword & Shield. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield. A male Doctor based on the Pokémon Sword and Shield character design is featured in the VMAX Climax Full Art print's illustration. The only one to appear in Pokémon Sword and Shield outside the Battle Tower uses a Gardevoir in battle.
