It evolves from Floette when exposed to a Shiny Stone. It is the final form of Flabébé. Its flower can come in five different colors.

Biology

Florges is a slender Pokémon with a white upper body and a green lower body. Its head is rounded with a pointed, upturned nose; long, teardrop-shaped ears; and dark eyes with lengthy, green, plantlike lashes. Surrounding its head is an ornate bouquet of flowers that can be red, yellow, orange, blue, or white. It has slender arms with three tiny fingers and two black diamond-shapes on its chest. Its lower body resembles a mermaid's tail with two large leaves sprouting above the tailfin. It is a female-only species with no male counterpart.

Florges can live for several hundred years and devotes its life to protecting gardens. It lives in beautiful flower gardens and can control the flowers it grows. It also gains power by basking in the energy emitted by flowering plants. In the past, it was asked to create flower gardens for castles.

Trivia

Origin

Florges appears to be based on fairies and nymphs, in particular Anthousai due to its floral "hair". Its ornate, flowery "hair" may also be a reference to the 18th century pouf hairstyle, which was notable in that the style would commonly use decorative items within the hair itself to convey mood and uniqueness. Its body structure resembles that of the hyacinth flower, which has large sturdy leaves projecting from the base of the stalk. Its design may also draw inspiration from mermaids.

Name origin

Florges may be a combination of flora and gorgeous.
