Effect

Generations I to VII

Egg Bomb inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.

Egg Bomb does no damage to opponents with the Bulletproof ability.

Egg Bomb can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra four appeal points if the move Soft-Boiled was used in the prior turn.

Generation VIII

Egg Bomb cannot be selected in a battle.

After exploding, it returns to Chansey, or Chansey forms a ball of golden light between her hands and throws it at the opponent and it explodes on it.
