Damp Mulch

The Damp Mulch (Japanese: じめじめこやし Wet Fertilizer) is a type of item introduced in Generation IV. It is a type of Mulch used to make Berry plants dry out their soil more slowly.

In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, the Damp Mulch can be sold to the Mulch maniac in Mistralton City for 1000.

Generation IV

Makes soil dry out 50% slower, but causes growth time of a Berry plant to be 150% of usual.

Generation V onward

The Damp Mulch serves no practical purpose other than to be sold.

BW B2W2	A fertilizer to be spread on soft soil in regions where Berries are grown. A maniac will buy it for a high price.
XY	A fertilizer to be spread on soft soil in regions where Berries are grown.
ORAS SM USUM	A fertilizer for growing Berries. However, it appears to be unsuitable for the soil in the Hoenn region and has no effect.
