A secret version of this disk could be obtained as part of the Pokémon Center Sapporo Renewal Commemoration "Let's Play the Limited Course" Campaign held at all Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across Japan between December 8, 2016 and January 9, 2017. Pokémon Ga-Olé machines at these locations were updated during this period to include a Pokémon Center Special Course, in which the secret Alolan Vulpix could be encountered and caught.
