Paola Rojas (volleyball)

Paola Kristal Rojas Martínez (born 28 January 1996, San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican volleyball player.[1] She plays as a middle blocker for Valencianas de Juncos.

Career

She competed at the 2012 Girls' Youth NORCECA Volleyball Championship, 2013 Girls' Youth Pan-American Volleyball Cup,[2] where he won the silver medal, and in the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship. With the Under-20 national team, she took part in the 2013 Women's Junior Pan-American Volleyball Cup,[3] and in the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship.

In 2019 she was called up to the Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team , with which she won the silver medal at the 2021 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship,[4] followed by the bronze medal at the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup,[5] the 2022 Norceca Pan American Cup Final Six,[6] and 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.[7]

She played for University of Maryland, Baltimore County,[8] Changas de Naranjito,[9][10] and Valencianas de Juncos.[11]
