Development and Production

The original concept for the film was obtained by the filmmaker, DJ Kamal Mustafa in 2019 after PAF shot down two Indian jets in 2019.[4] It was the first kind of animated film in Pakistan that was released on dog fights, jet fights, and military response.[5] Pakistan Air Force given the name of this operation as "Operation Swift Retort". Several high-profile institutions, such as ISPR and the Pakistan Air Force, granted permission to start the film production in May 2019.[6] The film was not funded by any organization and was produced as a non-profit project. The total budget of the movie was $700, which was entirely self-funded by the filmmaker. The film was dedicated to Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor (DG ISPR) at that time.[7][8]
