Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Vande Bharat Express
The Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn Vande Bharat Express is India's upcoming Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the states of Maharashtra and the Konkan state Goa. It is expected to be inaugurated in June 2023. [1][2] This will be the first Vande Bharat Express train serving the Konkan Railways of India. [3]

Overview
The train is slated to have 16 coaches. It is set to start the journey from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and will end its service at Goa's Madgaon Junction. [4]

It will be the upcoming 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express train which will be designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative. [5]
