This is a list of known mass shootings that have occurred in Russia.

He then went outside and shot at passers-by on the sidewalk, shooting dead one person and wounding another before committing suicide. Two of the victims were acquaintances of the gunman.[1]
October 15, 2022 Soloti, Belgorod Oblast 13[n 2] 15 28 Soloti military training ground shooting: two conscripts from Tajikistan committed friendly fire, killing 11 people before being killed by return fire.[2]
September 26, 2022 Izhevsk, Udmurtia 19[n 1] 23 42 Izhevsk school shooting: Artem Kazantsev opened fire at his former school before committing suicide.[3]
July 15, 2022 Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Oblast 4 1 5 Denys Mashonsky shot four people and wounded another.[4]
April 26, 2022 Veshkayma, Ulyanovsk Oblast 5[n 1] 1 6 Veshkayma kindergarten shooting: Ruslan Akhtyamov fatally shot four people and wounded a fifth before committing suicide.[5]
December 7, 2021 Moscow 2 4 6 Moscow Multifunctional Center shooting: A 45-year-old male shot and killed two people and wounded four others, reportedly after being told to put on a face mask.[6]
September 20, 2021 Perm, Perm Krai 6 24[n 1] 30 Perm State University shooting: Timur Bekmansurov fatally shot six people at a university in the city of Perm before being apprehended by police.[7]
June 27, 2021 Biser, Perm Krai 3 1 4 Sergei Shinkevich fatally shot three people and wounded one.[8]
May 30, 2021 Ekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk oblast 0 2 2 Sergei Bolkov shot at people from windows of his apartment, after taking his friend as a hostage. After few time Bolkov was neutralized and arrested.
May 11, 2021 Kazan, Tatarstan 9 23 32 Kazan school shooting: Ilnaz Galyaviev killed seven students and two teachers in Gymnasium No. 175 and injured 23 others before being arrested.[9]
November 9, 2020 Voronezh Malshevo airbase, Voronezh Oblast 3 1 4 Anton Makarov shot 3 people to death and wounded 1 more before being arrested.[10]
November 7, 2020 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast 4[n 1] 1 5 Dmitry Zakharov killed 3 people and wounded another during the party at his apartment before shooting himself.[11]
October 12, 2020 Bolsheorlovskoe, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast 5[n 1] 2 7 Daniil Monakhov killed 4 people and wounded 2 more before shooting himself.[12]
June 18, 2020 Moscow 4[n 1] 0 4 Sevastyan Putintsev shot 3 people to death before shooting himself.[13]
April 4, 2020 Yelatma, Ryazan Oblast 5 0 5 Anton Franchikov shot 5 people to death.[14]
February 15, 2020 Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad Oblast 4[n 1][n 3] 1 5 Fazil Bahramov shot dead married couple and wounded their children before shooting himself.[15][16]

November 14, 2019 Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast 2[n 1] 3[18] 5 Amur College Shooting: A student at the Amur college of construction opened fire on other students and then shot himself.[18]
October 25, 2019 Gorny, Zabaykalsky Krai 8[19] 2[19] 10 Gorny shooting: A conscript soldier opened fire on his colleagues during a change of guards.[19]
October 3, 2019 Tomsk, Tomsk Oblast 3[n 1] 0 3 Man killed 2 women in office and shot himself at his home[20]
January 13, 2019 Uchaly, Bashkortostan 4[n 1] 1 5 35 y.o. Artur Ibragimov shot dead his wife, 2 neighbors and wounded one another, after which he shot himself.[21]
October 17, 2018 Kerch, Republic of Crimea 21[n 1] 70[22] 91 Kerch Polytechnic College massacre: A student detonated a bomb and shot people and then shot himself.
August 25, 2018 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast 2 0 2 Alexey Alexandrov killed 2 young girls on Mount Uktus with a self-made shotgun.[23]
May 24, 2018 Bulgunnyakhtakh, Sakha Republic 6[n 1] 0 6 Alexander Novikov killed 5 people.[24]
May 10, 2018 Barabinsk, Novosibirsk Oblast 1 (the perpetrator) 3 (1 by gunshot) 4 Barabinsk school shooting A 16 y.o. student opened fire in classroom, wounded 1 people, exits in corridor and then shot himself. 2 other students were injured when jumped from window, escaping the gunshots.
February 27, 2018 Kazan, Tatarstan 2[n 1] 2 4 36 y.o. man killed one Rosgvardiya officer in shootout and later was killed.[25]
February 18, 2018 Kizlyar, Dagestan 6[n 1] 4[26] 10 Kizlyar church shooting: Khalil Khalilov shot 5 people and wounded 4 others, after which he was killed by the police.
October 23, 2017 Shelkovskaya, Chechnya 5[n 1] 0 5 Marat Hajiyev shot 4 soldiers after which he was shot by other soldiers.[27]
September 29, 2017 Belogorsk, Amur Oblast 3 2 5 Hasan Abdulakhadov shot and killed 3 soldiers and wounded 2 others and was shot the next day.[28]
June 10–11, 2017 Kratovo, Moscow Oblast 6[n 1] 6 12 Mass murder in Kratovo: Igor Zenkov killed 5 people and wounded 6 and then shot himself.
June 4, 2017 Redkino, Konakovsky District, Tver Oblast 9 0 9 Mass murder in Redkino: Sergey Egorov killed 9 people.
April 21, 2017 Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai 4[n 1] 1 5 Attack on the FSB in Khabarovsk: Anton Vyacheslavovich Konev shot and killed 2 people in the FSB reception room and wounded another one and was killed by return fire.
Before the attack, he shot an instructor in a shooting range.
December 27, 2016 Moscow 1[n 1] 5 6 45-year-old K. Lunkov injured five people with a hunting rifle before committing suicide.[29]
December 15, 2016 Olsha, Smolensk Oblast 5[n 1] 3 8 Georgy Borisovich Yudaev shot 4 people and wounded 3 and then shot himself.[30]
October 30, 2016 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast 0 5 5 Man injured five people at a nightclub[31]
September 3, 2016 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast 2 7 9 38-year-old Oleg Shishova shot and killed two people and injured seven others with a rifle[32]
August 10, 2016 Maltsevo, Mordovia 3 0 3 Grigory Gryaznov shot 3 people.[33][34]
July 26, 2016 Magas, Ingushetia 1 4 5 Domestic dispute escalated into a shooting, killing the local chief of police, Isa Yevloyev, and injuring four others[35]
June 5, 2016 Mytischi, Moscow Oblast 0 4 4 Four men were injured[36]
May 8, 2016 Chelokhovo, Moscow Oblast 5 0 5 Mass murder in Yegoryevsk: Ilya Aseev killed 5 people and was arrested the next day.
March 27, 2016 Yakovlevskoye, Moscow Oblast 1 3 4 55-year-old Alexei Bychkov shot and killed one person and wounded three others[37]
February 22, 2016 Tyumen, Tyumen Oblast 0 4 4 A group of friends opened fire at a nightclub injuring four people[35]
January 31, 2016 Shlisselburg, Leningrad Oblast 2 3 5 Two men were killed and three were wounded during a dispute[38]
October 19, 2015 Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast 4 0 4 ru:Георгадзе, Амиран Георгиевич: Amiran Georgadze shot 4 people and shot himself on October 20.
September 26, 2015 Simferopol, Republic of Crimea 2 2 4 ru:Небиев, Бекир Эмир-Усеинович: Bekir Nebiev shot 2 people and wounded 2 more and shot himself later.
August 26, 2015 Pesochnoye, Kostroma Oblast 6[n 1] 1 7 Pavel Bakhtin shot five soldiers and wounded another and then shot himself.[39]
January 27, 2015 Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast 4[n 1] 0 4 Vladimir Levkin shot 3 people and then shot himself.
September 28, 2014 Lyskovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast 2 1[n 1] 3 36 y.o. man, in a state of alcohol intoxication, killed his 7 y.o. son by shooting him with IZh-27 at home, then he killed his neighbor — 66 y.o. woman, outside and started shooting at everything what he saw. After few time he was neutralized by another man and arrested by police.
February 9, 2014 Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Sakhalin Oblast 2 6 8 Shooting in the Resurrection Cathedral of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk: Stepan Komarov shot 2 people and injured 6 others.
February 3, 2014 Moscow 2 1 3 2014 Moscow school shooting: Sergey Gordeev shot 2 people and wounded 1 other.
April 22, 2013 Belgorod, Belgorod Oblast 6 0 6 2013 Belgorod shooting: Sergey Pomazun shot 6 people and was arrested the next day.
November 7, 2012 Moscow 6 1 7 2012 Moscow shooting: Dmitry Vinogradov shot 6 people and wounded one other.
August 28, 2012 Belidzhi, Dagestan 8[n 1] 6 14 Ramzan Aliyev shot 7 soldiers and wounded 6 others, after which he was shot dead by soldiers.[40]

August 25, 2002 Yaroslavsky, Primorsky Krai 5 10 15 Yaroslavsky shooting: Sergey Semidovsky shot 5 people and injured 10 others.
August 23, 2002 Ingushetia 8 0 8 Oleg Khismatulin and Nikolai Bozhkov shot 8 soldiers.[51]
April 11, 2002 Makhachkala, Dagestan 2 2[n 1] 4 Turar Abugaliev shot and killed 2 soldiers and wounded 1 and then wounded himself.[52]
February 3–5, 2002 Tatarstan 11[n 2] 2 13 Almaz Shageev and Mikhail Sukhorukov killed 9 people and injured 2 others. Shageev killed Sukhorukov and then killed himself.[53]

March 9, 1997 Kamyshin, Volgograd Oblast 6 2 8 Mass murder at the Kamyshin military school: Sergey Lepnev shot 6 colleagues and wounded 2.[60]

February 26, 1996 Kuzovlevo, Tomsk Oblast 4[n 2] 0 4 Yuri Dovgan and Alexander Kochetkov killed two soldiers and were killed by another soldier.[63]
November 14, 1995 Zabaykalsky Krai 2 3 5 Valery Sakharov killed 2 and wounded 3 other soldiers.[64]

March 8, 1994 Tanfiliev Island, Sakhalin Oblast 6 3 9 Dmitry Belkov and Andrey Bogdashin shot dead 6 soldiers and wounded 3.[66]
April 26, 1992 Kazan, Tatarstan 9 1 10 Andrey Shpagonov killed nine people and wounded one other while trying to steal firearms during a robbery. He was sentenced to death and executed in 1995.[67]
March 26, 1992 Kyakhta, Buryatia 8 2 10 An unknown soldier killed 8 soldiers and wounded 2 others.[68]
