Lee E. Payne
Lee E. Payne is a medical surgeon and retired United States Air Force major general who last served as the Assistant Director for Combat Support of the Defense Health Agency. He was previously the Command Surgeon of the Air Mobility Command.[1][2][3][4][5]

He currently serves as an executive in Deloitte’s government and public services.
Early life and education
Payne earned Bachelor of Science in Zoology from University of Kentucky in 1979. He later earned Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1983. He then earned Master of Business Administration from Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012.
