This card was included in the Vivid Voltage expansion with artwork by kodama, first released in the Japanese Amazing Volt Tackle expansion. A Cosmos Holofoil version was included in the Eevee Collector Chest. It was reprinted in the Japanese VMAX Climax subset alongside a Full Art Secret print with artwork by Jiro Sasumo.

Aurora Beam is a move in the Pokémon games that Vaporeon can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword. Blue is featured in the VMAX Climax Full Art Secret print's illustration, who can use a Vaporeon in Pokémon Yellow.
