Release information

In Japan, this jumbo card was available as an insert with the September 2001 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on August 15, 2001 as part of a promotion for the Japanese theatrical release of Celebi: a Timeless Encounter.

Trivia

The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Theater version Pocket Monsters 2001 "Celebi: a Timeless Encounter" special jumbo card".
The card has the CoroCoro logo where the "e" on this card stock would traditionally be. The card also has the Pikachu: The Movie 2001 logo on the bottom right.
