Release information

This Tretta was awarded as a prize to participants of the Tornadus and Thundurus Cup, held in June 2013 at participating stores. Entrants were tasked to capture Pokémon with the highest combined Energy total as possible in one playthrough. Those that managed to capture Pokémon with a combined total of at least 60 were awarded a 'CLEAR' seal, with those achieving the top five combined totals at each event also earning a 'WINNER' seal. All participants were awarded either this Tretta or a Tornadus Tretta at random. Although the Tornadus and Thundurus Cup events did not begin until June 1, 2013, this Tretta, as well as the Thundurus Tretta, were included as one of the possible Trophy Tretta awarded as a participation prize in events that took place before the Tornadus and Thundurus Cup. Details of these events, as well as subsequent events, are as follows:

  • Awarded as a random participation prize at each Pokémon Center 15th Anniversary venue between May 25, 2013 and May 31, 2013, and between June 1, 2013 and June 14, 2013.
  • Awarded as a random participation prize at the Pokémon Smash! Challenge Cup held at the 2013 International Tokyo Toy Show on June 15 and 16, 2013.
  • Awarded as a random Special Cup participation prize at each 3 on 3 CoroCoro Cup venue, which took place at Intex Osaka, Osaka on June 9, 2013, and at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on June 23, 2013.
  • Awarded as a random Ito-Yokado Challenge Cup participation prize, held at participating Ito-Yokado stores across Japan on August 11, 2013.
