Release information
In Japan, this card was released as one of the SM-P Promotional cards and was available as part of the continued 20th Anniversary celebrations of the first Pokémon Center. Starting August 25, 2018 for as long as stocks lasted, customers at participating Pokémon Centers (including the Pokémon Center Online) and Pokémon Stores who purchased five booster packs in one transaction were given this card.

Origin
Red owns a Pikachu in the majority of games he has appeared as an opponent. Volt Tackle is a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn, and is also a move Red's Pikachu can use in his post-Generation II teams. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Moon.
