Release information
This card was made exclusively for the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color, never printed as an actual card in any language. However, a scan of the non-existent full card was included in Pokémon Card Official Book 2000.
Trivia
- In the American version of the video game Pokémon Trading Card Game, this card's name was misspelled as Ninetails. This was fixed in the European versions.
- This card displays a 'GB' symbol in place of the Expansion symbol, indicating it was created exclusively for the Game Boy.
- This card uses the same stock art of Ninetales as the Gym Challenge Brock's Ninetales.
Origin
This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
