Release information
This card was included in the Fossil expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Mystery of the Fossils expansion as a Holofoil card. The Holofoil print was later reprinted in the Legendary Collection expansion.
Trivia
Although this Pokémon is level 34, Grimer does not evolve into Muk until level 38.
Origin
Toxic Gas's Japanese name is that of Neutralizing Gas, an Ability introduced in the Generation VIII Pokémon games that Muk cannot have. Sludge is a move in the Pokémon games that Muk can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
