This card was released as one of the SM Black Star Promos, available in the Detective Pikachu Mewtwo-GX Case File and Detective Pikachu Tin. A Jumbo version was included in the Case File. In Japan, it was included in the Great Detective Pikachu subset. An unnumbered SM-P Promotional Jumbo version was made available in the Japanese Detective Pikachu Special Jumbo Card Pack: Mewtwo-GX Version, released on May 3, 2019. This print also features the Japanese Detective Pikachu movie logo on the left side of the artwork.
