Release information

Two different prints of this card have been made available in Japan. The first print, numbered 098/XY-P, was released as part of the celebrations for the relocation of Pokémon Center Tokyo, which moved from its original location in Hamamatsuchō to Ikebukuro. The new store opened on December 12, 2014 as Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, and this card was given to customers with any purchase starting the opening day until January 16, 2015. This print features the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo logo to the bottom right of the illustration. The second print, numbered 204/XY-P, was given to participants of the Pokémon Center Mega Battle + Creatures Challenge, held at all Pokémon Centers across Japan on January 16 and 17, 2016. On January 16th, 40 participants of all ages could join one of the three sessions, meaning that 120 copies of the card were issued. On January 17th, another 40 participants of elementary school or under could join one of the three sessions, meaning that another 120 copies of the card were issued. There were four venues at the time, including Mega Tokyo, Tokyo Bay, Yokohama, and Osaka. Since each venue distributed 240 copies of the card, there are known to be 960 copies in circulation. This print features the regular Pokémon Center logo to the bottom right of the illustration. Both prints feature artwork by Kouki Saitou.
