When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.


Release information

In Japan, this card was released as a XY-P Promotional cards and was given to attendees of the 20th Anniversary Countdown, held at the Roppongi Nicofarre, Minato, Tokyo on October 19, 2016 in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The event was limited to 100 Japanese residents, selected by a lottery system from those who entered during the application period, which ran from September 21 to October 3, 2016. Those selected were notified via email by October 10, 2016.

Trivia

  • This card is one of three Pokémon cards that isn't actually a Pokémon, the others being Buried Fossil and Koko.
  • Even though this card has a clause that treats it as a Mega Evolution Pokémon, it is unplayable as there is currently no prerequisite Sachiko-EX card.

Origin

Sachiko Kobayashi is a Japanese singer and former member of the band Suzukisan. Mega Sachiko is a persona first adopted for her performance at the 2009 Kōhaku Uta Gassen. While in this guise, her appearance, along with the large statue that forms part of her act, earned her the nickname "The Final Boss" among fans.
