Release information
This card was released as one of the XY Black Star Promos available in the Flashfire Single Pack Blisters from May 7, 2014. In Japan, it was released as one of the XY-P Promotional cards and was one of four possible promotional cards given to customers who purchased ¥1000 worth of Pokémon Card Game products at participating stores as part of the Corocoro Presents: XY Super Hot Start-Up Campaign, which launched on December 13, 2013 in celebration of the release of Collection X • Collection Y. This card features the campaign logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
A second Japanese print with the same promotional number was released featuring the logo for the Lizardon Mega Battle Commemoration Campaign, which launched on January 31, 2014 in celebration of the release of the Xerneas and Yveltal Half Decks, and ultimately the start of the Lizardon Mega Battle in May 2014.
