Release information
This card was included as both a Regular and a Full Art card in the English Dragons Exalted expansion, first released in the Japanese Dragon Blast expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Eske Yoshinob, while the Full Art print features artwork by 5ban Graphics. The Full Art print was reprinted as one of the BW-P Promotional cards with different artwork by 5ban Graphics and awarded to winners of the 'Super Rare Card Set Get!' campaign. Those who bought a combination of four BW5 products at participating stores could enter into a drawing to win one of 1,000 copies of Giratina-EX and Rayquaza-EX.

Dragon Pulse is a move in the Pokémon games that Giratina can learn, though at the time of this card's release it could only learn the move via TM59 in Generation IV. This card features the Altered Forme of Giratina.
