Fiery Dance (Japanese: ほのおのまい Fire Dance) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It is the signature move of Volcarona.

Effect

Generations V to VII

Fiery Dance inflicts damage and has a 50% chance of raising the user's Special Attack stat by one stage.

Pokémon Sword and Shield

In Versions 1.0 to 1.1.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Fiery Dance could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.2.0, it can be selected and functions as it did in previous generations.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Fiery Dance cannot be selected in a battle.

XYORAS
SMUSUM		 Cloaked in flames, the user dances and flaps its wings. This may also raise the user's Sp. Atk stat.
SwSh Cloaked in flames, the user attacks the target by dancing and flapping its wings. This may also raise the user's Sp. Atk stat.
BDSP This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
