This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil BW Black Star Promotional card in May 2013 in the Plasma Freeze Single Pack Blisters. In Japan, it was released as one of the BW-P Promotional cards and available as part of a ten card random pack released during the February 2013 Gym Challenge.
