Electric Rodents of Doom (TCG)

This Lt. Surge deck gets a little help from Misty and a Team Rocket Pokémon. You'll want to play an early Rocket's Zapdos, if possible. You can use Misty's Wrath to look for Rocket's Zapdos — or any other Pokémon you need — discarding Energy cards when you play it. Then use Rocket's Zapdos's Plasma attack to fetch a free Energy card every turn from those that you discarded. Once Rocket's Zapdos picks up enough Energy, you can use its Electroburn attack or, even better, use Energy Flow to transfer all of those Energy cards onto a hard-hitting Pokémon like Lt. Surge's Pikachu.

A lot of the Pokémon in this deck have attacks that damage themselves as well as the Defending Pokémon. Use Defender and Potion to keep your Pokémon from getting Knocked Out by their own attacks. Keep recycling Energy and blasting Defending Pokémon with your Lightning Pokémon, and you might just zap your way to victory.
