Like several other Pokémon VS-styled cards, this card could technically have been an evolution card, as cards of Brock's Zubat and Brock's Golbat were released previously.

Gym Leader Brock owns a Crobat that knows Supersonic and Wing Attack in the Pokémon anime. Supersonic and Wing Attack are both moves in the Pokémon games that Crobat can learn. This card's e-Reader Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Crystal.
