Release information
This card was distributed in Japan as an insert across two Shogakukan publications in August 2003. These publications were the September 2003 issues of Elementary School 3rd Grade magazine and Elementary School 4th Grade magazine.
Trivia
- This was the first card to depict a Pokémon belonging to Ash.
- This card lists a Pikachu Project copyright instead of an illustrator.
Origin
Ash caught a Treecko early on in the Hoenn region, which later evolved into Grovyle and finally Sceptile. Quick Attack is a move in the Pokémon games that Treecko can learn, and is also a move that Ash's Treecko used in the anime.
