Release information

This card was available through a Warner Bros. store campaign in conjunction with The Power of One in July 2000. In Japan, it was available as a Jumbo Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the October 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on September 15, 1997.

Trivia

The text on the top right of the Japanese print's card border reads: "special jumbo card." As a Jumbo card, it cannot be used at official tournaments. The English print also has "Not for Play Use" printed on the reverse.
The card text on the bottom of the Japanese card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: September issue supplement. For how to play, read about the Pokémon Club on page 296!!" The CoroCoro dragon mascot is also in place of an expansion symbol.
The Japanese version does not detail the combined length and weight as with the English version. Instead it states "Legendary Bird Pokémon: Cool". This type of comment is common to all original Jumbo cards portraying Pokémon released between 1997 and 2002.
