Release information

This card was available through a Warner Bros. store campaign in conjunction with The Power of One in July 2000. In Japan, it was available as a Jumbo Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the October 1997 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on September 15, 1997.

Trivia

  • The text on the top right of the Japanese print's card border reads: "special jumbo card." As a Jumbo card, it cannot be used at official tournaments. The English print also has "Not for Play Use" printed on the reverse.
  • The card text on the bottom of the Japanese card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: September issue supplement. For how to play, read about the Pokémon Club on page 296!!" The CoroCoro dragon mascot is also in place of an expansion symbol.
  • The Japanese version does not detail the combined length and weight as with the English version. Instead it states "Legendary Bird Pokémon: Cool". This type of comment is common to all original Jumbo cards portraying Pokémon released between 1997 and 2002.
