This card was released in the Plasma Storm Three Pack Blisters in February 2013. In Japan, it was released as one of the BW-P Promotional cards in a ten card random pack released during the June 2012 Gym Challenge.

The only Mareep and Flaaffy cards availabe were rotated in the 2015-16 Standard format, making this an Orphaned card.

This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black and White. Dragonspiral Tower is featured in the illustration.
